Our knees have to carry us where ever we go, we can bend them, rotate and change direction on a dime. The are very moveable and this makes them vulnerable to injury.
The stabilizers of the knee are the ligaments. We have the collateral ligaments on the outside of the knee and the cruciate ligaments inside the knee. Any one of which can become sprained if we take a miss step, during sports, or from our work.
With laser therapy aimed at the ligaments that are injured we see a fast improvement and people returning to their activities much sooner than waiting for improvement to happen on it’s own.
Laser therapy’s red and infrared light relieves pain, reduces inflammation and speeds healing. When the laser pads with the light source are placed against the skin, the photons penetrate several inches and get absorbed by the mitochondria, the energy producing part of the cell. This energy fuels many positive physiological responses resulting in the restoration of normal cell growth and function.

Here is what one of our patient’s says:
I had began training for a 5K race and injured my knee, since I had success with treating my neck I knew that I wanted to begin laser treatments on my knee right away. After one treatment on my knee any pain was gone. I am looking forward to running again.
Cruz Life Center is my one stop for everything. From laser treatments, adjustments, vitamins, supplements and health coaching they have help me change my lifestyle and health. I am no longer taking any prescription medications – only vitamins and supplements that are good for me and help my body heal itself.
I recommend that you don’t wait for the pain to get so bad that you depend on pain medication that only masks the pain. Laser treatment helps the body to heal itself.
