CFR technique is performed by inserting tiny balloons in the nose (the naso pharynx) then quickly inflating them to mobilize the bones of the face and cranium. It feels very similar to the sensation experienced when jumping into a swimming pool and having water shoot up your nose. The whole procedure takes about 2 to 3 seconds, and consists of a series of 4-6 treatments over a 7-10 day period.
Conditions known to respond favorably to CFR
Breathing Disorders
Sinus Conditions
Snoring
Sleep apnea
Migraine Headaches
Head Trauma
Post Concussion Syndrome
Trigeminal neuralgia
Facial paralysis
Bell’s Palsy
TMJ disorders
Most people who come in for CFR treatments are usually last resort patients who have tried everything else. CFR treatments often succeeds where other forms of conventional treatments has failed.
Have you have any of the following injuries?
A traumatic birth by a forceps delivery
Orthodontic braces that moved the jaw
Any trauma to the face
If so, you can benefit from cranial facial release. Those injuries affect the way you breathe. After cranial facial release most people experience improvements in breathing and in energy from their increase in oxygen.
Testimonies
#Improved Sleep #ImprovedBreathing #CFR
For most of my life, I have struggled with sinus, allergy, and breathing problems. During my birth, I was delivered with forceps, which affected my skull’s ability to move when I breathed. When I had braces, my head gear moved the position of my jaw, which also affects breathing. My breathing problems significantly increased after my ATV accident when I was hit in the face. My breathing difficulties were affecting my sleep and causing low energy. I have now had 9 cranial facial release treatments and can report improvements in my breathing, sleep, and energy. This treatment has helped me so much that we wanted to offer it to others. Dr. Cruz and I attended a specialized training in Miami, Florida to bring cranial facial release to Western North Carolina. –Lesia Cruz

How CFR Works
It is important to realize that the skull is NOT one solid bone. It is made up of 22 individual bones that actually move every time you breathe – or at least they’re supposed to. The objective of CFR technique is to mobilize the bones in the face and cranium and to open up the breathing passageways with the purpose of mobilizing the cranial bones and facilitating normal cranial function.
